CUSTOMS (AMENDMENT) REGULATION 2012

MADE UNDER SECTION 268 OF THE CUSTOMS ACT
Commencement [5th January, 2012]
1 Citation
This Regulation may be cited as the Customs (Amendment) Regulation 2012.
2 Commencement
These regulations shall come into effect on the 5th day of January 2012.
3 Amendment of Regulation
Regulation 122 is amended by repealing schedule 2(5) of the sub regulation (3) in its entirety and substituting the following.

| Where the consignment is less than 1 tonne. | | |
| a). under 1/3 of a tonne | 50 cents per cubic meter | $ 1.00 per cubic meter |
| b). over 1/3 of a tonne | $1.00 per cubic meter | $2.00 per cubic meter |
| Where the consignment exceeds 1 tonne | | |
| c). in respect of the tonne. | $1.00 per cubic meter | $2.00 per cubic meter |
| d). each additional tonne or part of a tonne | $1.00 per cubic met er | $2.00 per cubic meter |
4 Amendment of Regulations 150-154
Schedule 3 of Regulation 150-154 is amended by repealing the existing fees and substituting the following fees:
FEES RELATING TO ATTENDANCE OUTSIDE OFFICIAL HOURS.
1 Approval of application for extra attendance of Officers on non-working days or outside working hours. $15.00
2 Attendance fee of an officer on non working days $16.00 an hour
3 Attendance Fee of an Officer outside working hours $16.00 an hour
4 Receiving Masters report on non working days $40.00 an hour
5 Granting Masters reports outside working hours. $40.00 an hour.
