AN ACT TO AMEND THE ELECTORAL PROVISIONS (PARLIAMENT) ACT AND PROVIDE THAT ONLY EXPENSES INCURRED BY THE GOVERNMENT IN THE REGISTRATION OF ELECTORS AND THE HOLDING OF ELECTIONS ARE CHARGED ON PUBLIC REVENUE

Commencement [1st January, 2010]
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Electoral Provisions (Parliament) Amendment Act 2011.
2 Commencement
This Act is taken to have commenced on the 1st January, 2010.
3 Amendment to Section 60 Expenses of registration and elections
Section 60(1) is repealed and replaced with the following:
"(1) All expenses incurred by the government in the registration of electors and the holding of elections are charged on and shall be paid from the consolidated fund without further appropriation otherwise than by this section."
