AN ACT to authorise an appropriation of moneys out of the consolidated fund for recurrent expenditure to the service of the year ending 31 December, 1991.

ENACTED by the Parliament of Tuvalu-
Short Title
1. This Act may be cited as the 1991 Appropriation Act 1990.
Authorisation of expenditure
2. The Minister may, by Warrant under his hand, authorise the issue from the Consolidated Fund, for the service of Tuvalu for the financial year ending 31st December 1991 of a sum not exceeding Five Million, one hundred and ninety eight thousand, six hundred and ninety three dollars ($5,198,693) which sum shall be appropriated in accordance with the Schedule for the purposes specified there.

EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM'
(This memorandum is not part of the Act)
This Act authorises the appropriation of moneys from the Consolidated-Fund of Tuvalu in accordance with section 165 of the Constitution. This appropriation amounting to Five million, one hundred and ninety eight thousand, six hundred and ninety three dollars ($5,198,693) will meet the expenditure by the Government in the financial year ending 31 December 1991 as detailed in the National Budget for 1991 presented to Parliament by the Honourable Minister for Finance and Commerce.
