ARRANGEMENT OF SECTION.

Interpretation (Amendment of Section 2)

No 58 of 2015.

AN ACT

entitled

Mining (Amendment) Act 2015,

Being an Act to amend the Mining Act 1992,

MADE by the National Parliament.

INTERPRETATION (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 2).

Section 2 of the Principal Act is amended, in the definition of land, by repealing Paragraphs (c) and (d) and replacing them with the following:

" (c) the foreshore area between the mean high water springs level of the sea and the lowest astronomical tide; and
(d) the offshore area that comprises the seabed underlying any of the waters of Papua New Guinea, other than internal waters.".
