Alternative penalties (Amendment of Section 2).

AN ACT

entitled

Leadership Code (Alternative Penalties) (Amendment) Act 2022.

Being an Act to amend the Leadership Code (Alternative Penalties) Act (Chapter 1A),

MADE by the National Parliament.

ALTERNATIVE PENALTIES (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 2).

Section 2 of the Principal Act is amended -

(a) in Paragraph (a) by deleting "K1,000.00; or" and replacing it with "K20,000.00; or"; and
(b) in Paragraph (b) by deleting "K500.00," and replacing it with "K10,000.00,"; and
(c) by repealing Paragraph (c) .
