ARRANGEMENT OF SECTIONS.
Professional Engineers (Registration) Regulation 1988
MADE by the Head of State, acting with, and in accordance with, the advice of the National Executive Council under the Professional Engineers (Registration) Act 1986.
Dated 200 .
A person who is a registered engineer may use–
(a) the title “Registered Engineer”; or
(b) the abbreviated title “Reg. Eng.”.
A certificate issued to a registered engineer under Section 15 of the Act shall be displayed–
(a) where the registered engineer is self-employed–at his place of business; and
(b) where the registered engineer is an employee–at the place of business of his employer.
The maximum period of suspension under Section 21(4) of the Act is 12 months.
For the purposes of Section 23(1), the estimated value of works is specified as K100,000.00.
