An Ordinance to provide for the fees to be taken under the Merchant Shipping Act 1894

Short title
1. 'This Ordinance may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Fees) Ordinance.
Fees to be taken by Marine Superintendent 1894 c. 60
2. Whenever any act mentioned in the Schedule which shall, under the provisions of the Merchant Shipping Act 1894, be done by, to or
before a British Consular officer or a superintendent is in the Gilbert Islands done by, to, or before the Marine Superintendent
or any public officer acting for him and on his behalf, there shall be paid in respect of that act the fees specified therefor in
the Schedule.
Fees to be paid into Consolidated Fund
3. All fees payable under this Ordinance shall be paid into the Consolidated Fund.
Power to amend Schedule
4. The Minister may make regulations to amend the Schedule.
