THIS CORRIGENDUM IS TO CORRECT THE PUBLISHED FIJI ISLANDS GOVERNMENT LEGAL NOTICE NO. 85 ON THE LAMI PARKING METERS REGULATION 2009 ISSUED ON FRIDAY 13TH NOVEMBER, 2009

Title

1. This Corrigendum is to correct the Lami Parking Meters Regulation 2009.

Table of Provisions Correction

2. The Table of Provisions is corrected by -

(i) renumbering paragraph "11" to paragraph "10"

(ii) renumbering paragraph "12" to paragraph "11"

(iii) renumbering paragraph "13" to paragraph "12"

(iv) renumbering paragraph "14" to paragraph "13"

(v) deleting paragraph 15

Regulation 6 Correction

3. Regulation 6 is corrected by —

(i) inserting the whole of sub regulation (4) after the word "has" at the end of sub regulation (3).

(ii) deleting sub regulation (4).

Regulation 9 Correction

4. Regulation 9 is corrected by -

(i) deleting "sub Regulation" and substituting "sub regulation" wherever the word appears.

(ii) deleting in sub regulation (2)(a) "Registration Number" and substituting "registration number".

(iii) deleting "Sub-Regulation" and substituting "sub regulation" wherever the word appears.

(iv) deleting in sub regulation (4) "," after 'enforcement officer' and substituting "or".

Regulation 10 Correction

5. Regulation 10 is corrected by —

(i) deleting in sub regulation (1) "in" after '4 o'clock' and substituting "on".

(ii) deleting in sub regulation (2) "sub Regulation" and substituting "sub regulation".

(iii) deleting sub regulation (3) "Failure to comply with sub regulation (2) the registered owner shall be guilty of an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine no exceeding $200 or a term of imprisonment of 30 days, further more the council may institute proceedings against the registered owner in accordance with the Land Transport Act", and substituting with "Failure to comply with sub regulation (2), the registered owner shall be guilty of an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $200 or a term of 30 days imprisonment.

(iv) inserting sub regulation (4) after sub regulation (3) "The Council may also institute proceedings against the registered owner of the vehicle in accordance with the Land Transport Act".
