ORDER IN EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

HIS EXCELLENCY THE QUEEN'S REPRESENTATIVE
IN EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

PURSUANT to Section 32 of the Cook Islands Industrial and Labour Ordinance 1964, His Excellency the Queen's Representative, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following Order.

ANALYSIS

l. Title and commencement
2. Minimum Wage prescribed for all employees
3. Revocation

ORDER

1. Title and commencement - (1) This Order may be cited as the Minimum Wage Order 2006.

(2) This Order shall come into force on 1^st July 2006.

2. Minimum Wage prescribed for all employees - The minimum wage prescribed for all employees shall be $5.00 per hour.

3. Revocation - The Minimum Wage Order 2000 is hereby revoked.
